    Hi,

We take call when live. Anyone who calls us he is directly live so we cannot control if he uses any abusive words towards the presenter.

I was thinking a delay box where there will be 2-3 second delay so from the transmission room we hear first what the caller is saying then the presenter hear that and answer accordingly.

If the caller say something bad we can disconnect the line thus it would not be in live any more.

    Any idea guys?

    Please help us out.

    Thank you

What I found with just a quick search…

If you’re low budget I’m sure you can find a computer software that will work for you too…

    Good luck!

Thank you very much for your reply.
Do you have any idea about the computer software?

I once used a DVR for this: you put the DVR into record for at least your audio, then use the playback-while-recording feature to add whatever amount of delay you need. If you hear a bad word, you can cut to live, then resume the delayed recording, or just hit the “skip” button on the DVR to hop over the naughty part, covering with a graphic before resuming the delay . Awkward, but no-cost.
