  I merged my files before I made proxies of them. Is this a solution?

  I’m on Prem 2017.2 and I hear this is not a feature? My footage is 4K so i could do with having them as proxies before the client comes over.

  Would it work if I converted all my footage to 1920 pro res then offline and relinked it?

  I’ve don’t want to give myself more trouble and I feel that if it was that easy someone would have mentioned it. Has anyone tried this?
