I lost video on clips I put in the timeline
I have a real knuckle-buster here. I am nesting sequences in CS3, and some are having to be rendered. Not fully, but just a few parts of the sequence. I have also added some commercials. Two of the five commercials added to the time line will not play video. I looked at my preferences and nothing has changed. I am 29.97 DV NTSC. Sound plays during the spots, but not video.
I had this problem a few months ago trying to master a shot where sequences and prices of video would need to be rendered and disappear on playback.
Does anyone have any idea of what may be causing this? I am an FCP user and am working on a MAC with CS3, do I don’t know the intricacies of CS3.
Now the segments of my show are all fine and all the commercials play fine on QT. I was also able to add just the video (from my commercials) from my bin into the source monitor, and drop just video on the timeline, but it soon disappears to black after I scrub the clip a bit or try to play the clip while in the timeline. Everything plays great in the source monitor.
This is weird!
Cheers.
Cheers.
