    I have somehow deleted the monitor panel in Sony Vegas HD Platinum II

    I am new to Vegas by a few weeks and am totally lost. I have managed to remove the Monitor panel and cannot get it back. Can anyone tell me how to restore the factory defaults? or must I uninstall then re-install the program.I have used Adobe Premiere elements until I bought my new Sony HDRCX700VE camcorder and Elements doesn’t want to know about it. I have never destroyed a program before! Frustration reigns supreme.

    Go to View, then in the drop down list go to Window Layouts,
    then select Default Layout.

    Probably you pressed the little X (close) at the corner of
    that preview window.
