  I have inadvertently turned some thing on and dont know what it is to ask how to turn it off

  If someone could please tell me what I have inadvertently turned on I am in a project and cannot undo what I have engaged. My J L Spacebar and play button on my program monitor all initiate “render”
  I need to work on my project but cant get out of this mode?
