I have a image and i want to color white spots with red, how can i do that?

As you can see, some of numbers are already filled in with red, which i did with paint and it is horribly slow doing it all but i was wondering if with photoshop CS5, i can fill it in a second and if its possible, how do you do it?
And i could not upload it on this site because it was saying file is to large and sometimes file format is not supported.

You could try Select : Color Range.
Then use the eyedropper to select one of the white spots.
Close the Color Range then use a big brush to paint over all the selected areas (which will be your white spots).Unselect and you’re done!
