I do not know what to get!
Hi, I’ve searched everywhere for information but I can’t seem to find the right information.
Basically I’m upgrading my PC to an iMac in october, but due to the limitation in hard drive capacity I want to get an external bay for all my hard drives, but I want to be able to edit my 7d footage and hvx footage off the bay. Not edit on machine and then copy over to it.
Could anyone recommend some fast and reliable NAS/Storage arrays that won’t cost over £800.

OWC (macsales.com) has some interesting esata connection kits that might work. Probably easiest thing for you to do would be to get a FW800 4TB GRaid hard drive off Amazon. I have one and it’s pretty good. If you get two, you can run time machine as a backup of the other.
