I can’t make an mpeg transport stream using Sony AVC or MC AVC
I am trying to duplicate the specs from a FCP render for a TV station. These are their requirements.
Container MPEG-TS
Video Codec Mainconcept H-264
Audio Codec MPEG AudioAudio:
Sample rate: 48,000
Bit rate: 256 kbit/s
Layer: Layer II
Psycho Model: Model 2Video:

Force headers every GOPWhen modifying a template for AVC 1920×1080 I cant force the format change (.mts) in the system tab. It is grayed out on all the templates.
Does anyone have any ideas here, or can you send me a render template?

Vegas Pro 12.0 handles templates a little different. Changes you were able to make in Vegas Pro 11.0 and earlier, can no longer be made in Vegas Pro 12.0.
If you use Sony AVC with the AVCHD 1920×1080-60i template, this will get you the closest. You won’t get MPEG-2 audio but you’ll get everything else once you lower the bit-rate to 10,000,000. Vegas will only render AVC/H.264 with AAC audio or Dolby Digital AC-3 audio, but not MPEG2 audio.
