    Hello

    I am trying to figure out why I can no longer drag down the opacity on a video clip and the sound volume on an audio clip. Did I turn something off that I’m not aware of? I also can’t find the little icon in the corner of the actual clip in the time line that allows me to see all of the videofx for that clip. I get an error every time I open Vegas, but it never seems to bother my work or progress and I could still drag those things initially….perhaps that has changed? I am running windows 7 64bit

    That is strange. I would reset Vegas and see if it helps. To do this, hold down the Ctrl+Shift keys while launching Vegas and it will reset Vegas to the first time you installed it. This will reset any changes that you may have made in your preferences but it also might fix the problem.

    You might also want to check if your tracks aren’t locked. Just right-click on the video, go down to “switches”, and make sure that the “lock” option is not checked. You can do the same for the audio track.
    As far as your icons are concerned, you should be able to see them again by going in the menu under View and checked on “Event Buttons”, or using the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+C.

    Viewing the “event buttons” solved my problem. I new that it would be something that simple…that’s just my luck…lol Thank you so much for the help 🙂
