I am suspicious Resolve 9 b2 just messed up my HDDs
So I was working on a davinci resolve project in v9.b2 and tried to add some new media into a project. I pointed it to a Hdd where I keep the media and it hang and would not recover. So I had windows to exit the resolve forcefully and restarted the computer.
When it booted up I had non of my user accounts and all of the hard drives other then Os hard drive were gone.I went into the disk management and it showed all of my hard drives as uninitialized and raw.
I had to run the partition recovery Sw to restore my HDDs. Upon doing so I decided to ruin the antivirus and it informed me about the registry entries being hidden. When I went to see what those entries were all of them were Postgres user accounts. I have never had my antivirus report those before even though I had resolve running on this computer since last December.
The only software I am aware of I had installed onto my computer that uses Postgres was Resolve. My logic is:
1. I am trying to access an HDD in resolve.
2. Resolve hangs.
3. Restart
4. No HDDs present in the system, prompting the partition restoration session.
5. Registry entries pertaining to Postgres and by proxy to Resolve are bothering my antivirus software.
6. ?
7. Profit
Was iit a coincidence? I do not like those…
At this point I am terrified to start up the Resolve again.
