You can convert them to JPEG at the same resolution. Since JPEG’s use compression, you can get compression artifacts but I use 100’s of JPEG’s all the time in my photo montages and they look fine so you are not limited to PNG. As Bob said, saving a JPEG mutliple times will loose quality but converting an original to a JPEG once will probably have no visible quality loss on video.
