  Hyperdeck Shuttle – DSLR – Timecode

  I’m a freelance video camera man who shoots with a full-sized Panasonic P2 camera.

  I’m interested in purchasing a DSLR camera, and bypassing it’s native compression with a BMD Hyperdeck Shuttle — but it appears the only way to generate timecode is thru an SDI output, which the camera I’m considering (Nikon D800) unfortunately doesn’t have.

  Workarounds for this?? Or am I out of luck??
