Hyperdeck Shuttle as HDMI to SDI Converter
Blackmagic’s support FAQs state that “you can record SDI but preview on both the SDI and HDMI outputs.”
Is this limited to when you are recording or does it actually loop the input signal (whether HDMI or SDI) out to the HDMI and SDI outputs?
I’m curious if I can use this as a recording device as well as a SDI to HDMI/HDMI to SDI converter in place of BM’s $495 Mini Converters. If it does work, that means this device is like three in one. 🙂
