  • HVX200 viewfinder info sent out through video out?

Posted by Scott Allman on April 25, 2008 at 8:35 pm

I am using an HVX200 on a jib and need to be able to send the image and graphics that are visible in the viewfinder out to a monitor that the jib operator can see. The video out on the camera has a clean feed with no graphics. We ran into an instance where we thought the camera was recording and it wasn’t. Is it possible to do this with the HVX?

    Thanks

Yes, sorry I don’t have the camera in front of me. But there is a menu setting that allows for full/partial/no info via the video out. None of this info will ever go out the via FW.

Just run through the menu (think it is the Display one)

I believe it’s OSD on for on screen display.
