HVX200 project won’t play back on other camera with timecode
I shot a project on the HVX200 in Sd 480i 24p squeeze mode. And I am trying to playback and capture on my little 1 chip canon optura PI. The canon is playing back without any timecode. Is this a display or settings function with my canon that needs to be adjusting, or with the hvx not allow users to play tapes back on other devices without a loss of the timecode?

The Canon 1 chips have often been fussy with tapes from other cameras. I suggest capturing from the HVX directly or even better use a proper DV editing deck.
