So here is my dilemna. I started a project and was using the xha1, but i no longer have use of that camera so I have to shoot the rest with the hvx200. The XH was set to 1080/60i 29.97 fps with a 1/60ss. I figured I could just set the hvx200 to the same settings, only for some reason it won’t let me make the shutter speed 1/60, the lowest it will go 1/100. What im wondering is if i make it 1080/30p 30 fps and 1/60ss will it look the same?

30p and 60i cannot be definition look remotely similar. I’d suggest finding a more common frame rate- such as 60i or 24p. That is if you’re expecting a visual match.
