October 17, 2007 at 9:15 pmOn a slightlier different note- we’re doing a show shot on 1080 30p on the Varicam- I’ve been told it’s best to edit this in 30p- then output to whatever format at the end. But I have an issue- some HDCAM shot at 30p- with no way to download thru firewire- unless I go J3- which may or may not work at putting out a DV res image; can I put this whole project onto a
108060i timeline- since it is much the same as 30p; then maybe in final assembly go back to a 30p? What about mixing in 1080i footage into this? Do I need latest version 6 FCP software to do this?thanks
