    Hi all,

    I have a legal shoot tomorrow AM. visible date and time stamps have been part of videography forever so I never even bothered to see IF my hvx 200 could apply a d/t stamp. My only concern was finding HOW to turn it on.

    Well, imagine my surprise that the hvx has NO visible date and time stamp function.

    Now I am in a panic and looking for a workaround.

    Is there a plugin for FCP, or a workflow, that will allow me to add the date and time to clips in the sequence?

    Puhlease tell me there is.

    The HVX does have a time&date function under menu>display setup>date/time. There is a date/time button on the remote as well. I don’t think it burns the info into the recorded image, but the information is there when you play back. At the very least you could play your footage back from the camera with the time&date displayed and capture it analog to your NLE.
