HVX and EX-1 Footage in same timeline?
Hello,
I have a question regarding two different formats in the same timeline. I originally shot a short piece on the HVX only to find out that I needed some insert shots added later. I was required to shoot these with the sony EX-1. When I try to put the ex1 footage on the timeline formatted for the HVX it doesnt fit at all. What do you guys think is the best way to get around this? export to the HVX format and reinsert?
Any Help would be great.

Doesn’t fit at all…because you shot 1080i on the EX1 and 720p on the HVX?
Yes…convert your EX footage to DVCPRO HD and then try again. Here’s a discussion on the same lines…
