    Hi there,

I’m a happy Adobe Suite user and am currently considering purchasing the Panasonic HVX200.
I read that recently Serious Magic have provided support for DVCProHD in Premiere.

Can anyone provide an update on how well this works? Is Premiere (and AE?) now just as capable of handling this footage as Final Cut on the Mac?

Any ‘gotchas’ I should be aware of in the compatibility between the HVX and Premiere?

    Thanks.

Coming from a 3rd party provider, this works VERY well. Unfortunately, since they don’t offer a trial version, you can’t get first hand experience, but I would give them a call and ask them what procedure they recommend.

Raylight (dvfilm.com/raylight) has a free demo and has some key features missing
in Cineform and DVCRack, for example the ability to author a P2 card with the
    completed movie.
