Activity Forums Canon Cameras HV30 or HF10?

    I have these 2 choices and hoping you guys can help me out. I use SOny Vegas Pro 8 and After Effects. I have been using Mini Dv for quite sometime now. If I do not get the HF S10 then I will have to opt for one of these. Thanks in advance

    I love the HG10s (great zoom control) or HG20. Writes to Hard drive in AVCHD. With Sony Vegas 8c you can directly put AVCHD on the time line and edit it real time. When done you can render it to any format V8 has (MPG2 for DVD).
    If you want tape back up HV30 is good. Sony V8c also edits HDV directly.

    I have the HF10 and it’s great but the HF S10 is just in another league – got for the HF S10!
