Huge Vista Annoyance with media directory.. can anyone help me??
I recently set up a new edit station with vista on a quad core duo.
Every time I go into my media files directories… I get the same nonsense.. I want to see:
file name, size, and file type ( avi, sfk, veg, etc..)
Vista seems to have a mind of its own and gives me name – date tagged . size and rating.. Like I am concerned about my own media ratings..
it never lists the file type..
Every dog gone project ( and directory) I do i have to go in and go through the same process all over.. right click.. deleted what bill gates thinks should be there and put in what I want ( and what is probably most practical…
file name, size , and type – perhaps the creation date .. what ever
is there some way to set my computer to have a default list of attributes when i open a directory. i put this here because I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds this to be a huge pain in the neck.
Thanks
Wayne
