Huge unprofessional favor to ask
Hey Folks,
I’m in a bind, way behind, and looking to make a deal…
I outsourced an offline edit using an established FCE 4 to FCP 6 for finishing workflow, but the editor used a faster machine they had access to with FCP 7 on it. I have the FCP 7 project file, but I haven’t been able to get a response from the editor with my request for a Final Cut XML v4 of the project.

If anyone has a few minutes to download, open, export, and e-mail or ftp the xml file (version 4) for me, it would be a huge lifesaver.
And just because I could see someone doing this – I don’t owe the guy money or anything and I’m going to keep using him. I just need to meet a deadline.

Scratch that. My guy was able to do it on his lunch break, so I’m all XML’d up.
