huge grid of stills
I need to create a comp which is made up from multiple still images in a rigid grid pattern.
The initial image will have approx 9 images which will shrink as the camera pulls back to reveal a corporate logo created from the images as pixels.
Is there a way to create a uniform grid of images, which can then be tiled?
The original was created on a Flame system, but i need to replicate it using AE….
any suggestions?

There are a few ways of doing what you are after.
Card Dance is great for this kind of stuff.

actually found the perfect Expression to achieve the task in Marcus Gedulds After Efects Expressions book.
well worth the purchase price.
