    Hi all

I remember some years back using the HuffYUV codec for rendering as it did no compression, or virtually no compression on my output files, this meant they rendered very fast (although the files where huge).

Is it still possible to output to HuffYUV or something similar that will give me quick renders?

Any help is as ever appreciated.

Ignore. I thought it was no longer available. My bad.

    Ahhh, but only for PC.

Well folks, it’s been a rollercoaster.

You can always render to Uncompressed (or to an uncompressed flavor of image sequences), but either ProRes or CineForm should provide a good compromise between quality and file size without adding too significantly to your render time.

Thanks Walter. I found the completely uncompressed setting in the Quicktime options. That looks like it’s giving me a pretty decent render time.

    cheers
