    hue/saturation darker color

    I am using the hue/saturation effect to change the color of the car.
    It gives me a bright blue, but I need a dark blue/

    I tried using curves & levels to make it darker but did not work.
    Any tips?

    *I have no experience with color correction/footage manipulation.

    Drop the lightness value.

    it goes grey if I turn it down

    fiddling with the lightness and saturation values may produce that color needed… so as you change the lightness, if the color gets more gray, try increasing the saturation.
