Have you played with the gamma or settings of the camera at all?

Test with some of the scene files from Panasonic that come with the camera before changing any settings. If you check out the PASS website, https://eww.pass.panasonic.co.jp/p2ui/Login.do you can download the scene file handbook. It explains how to adjust settings. Also check your gain setting on the camera, If it’s set to boost you’ll have more grain.
