HPX171E 720p50
Posted by Caesar Heyne on May 14, 2009 at 12:49 pmHi,
Is the 720p50 the best quality setting for the HPX 171? Ending up in DVCPRO HD 14,1 MB/sec 960×720 in FCP. Looks a little grainy!Thx Caesar

May 15, 2009 at 4:26 pmTest with some of the scene files from Panasonic that come with the camera before changing any settings. If you check out the PASS website, https://eww.pass.panasonic.co.jp/p2ui/Login.do you can download the scene file handbook. It explains how to adjust settings. Also check your gain setting on the camera, If it’s set to boost you’ll have more grain.
