    Hey all,

Trying to achieve some close-up macro shots for a shoot using the HPX170p.

Wondering if I need to go with an expensive 72mm diopter like Century Precision’s achromatic diopter ($334.95 @ B&H) or with a “macro lens set” like the “72mm Bower Macro lens Set Close-up Lenses”, which goes for around $50. Whats the difference between these two? Quality?

I’m guessing I will need to drop the diopter/lens straight onto the camera? I am using a Letus35mm adapter (+50mm lens / +85mm telephoto lens) and was hoping to get macro on top of that….but at this point, all I am looking to achieve is macro…DOF is just a luxury in this scenario.

    Any insight would be helpful…

    Much appreciated,
    Eric
