Any thoughts on your two new 300’s? First impressions on cam and lens (kit lens?) ?

I had a 300 on demo over the weekend.
I used a Hpx-500 all last year, and if I had to choose between the two, I would choose the 300. The AVCIntra is great, and if I understand correctly there is no pixel shifting going on. Great viewfinder, and lighter than the 500. I was not able to do a comprehensive test though.

I did not see any wobble, but I do church work, so there’s not a lot of high speed panning going on.
Like I said in my previous post, my test was by no means comprehensive. But what I saw I liked!

    Thanks Dan:

for your response and testing as well. im gonna be doing an outdoor series with the camera, hooking it up to a letus. I read that the relays for these 1/3 inch types, should be out @ NAB. So that i get a very cinematic look. So far it seems panasonic has gotten around those Cmos issues.

So Jan are you gonna tell sony the secret LOLOLOL
