    Hi,

I posted this in the HPX 2000 forum as well. I appologize for the cross posting, but it occured to me that someone here might be able to help quicker. Here goes:

I’m posting a spot shot on an HPX 2000 in Final Cut Pro. The DP shot in 1080i 59.94 with a framerate of 24p. The footage I’m getting when I ingest has interlacing on it and I’m trying to remove it.

I’m used to using an HPX 500 shooting at 24pa and just checking the remove advanced pulldown in the Log and Transfer window. This is not working here.

Usually I would run a reverse telecine on this stuff to straighten it out, but when I open in cinema tools, the rev-telecine button is greyed out.

I want to cut on a 23.98 timeline and output SD using my Kona 3 card.

Any thoughts or help with this would be most appreciated.

    Thanks much

    David

You can use Compressor to reverse telecine (it’s in the deinterlace drop down) and you can then work in a batch, it’s divine.

Is it DVCPro HD footage or AVC-I?

It’s DVCPROHD. I’ll try compressor. That sounds promising.
