    Hi everyone,

    Here is my problem:

Shot footage with HPX 170 in the 1080i 24 format.
Brought it into FCP through Log & Transfer ProRes422(HQ), Remove Advanced Pulldown checked.
In FCP, footage says it is DVCPRO HD 1080p30, not ProRes422(HQ). Can someone explain why?

Terrible interlacing problems when viewing. it seems to interlace blend every 2.4.4.2 frames.

I tried using Cinema Tools to conform footage to 23.98, but it says all the files get skipped because the files have temporal compression.

In FCP i tried using Tools/Remove Advanced Pulldown. it changed the footage to 23.98 but there is still one bad interlacing frame visible.

I cannot figure out this problem.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Anthony T

That is the only way that camera brings in footage, the settings you changed are for AVC-Intra footage from the big, expensive cameras.
