Hello, I hope everybody is doing well and in decent mood.

I’m a video editor. I needed to update my old MacBook pro, so I got a new one 13” Catalina OS, and a HP 23″ N246v monitor with an HDMI cable to work with it. One thing is that HP doesn’t have the drivers for the OS Catalina. But the problem is that while I’m working, the window “Power Button locked” randomly appears in the monitor. After checking several forums I have tried several things: 10 secs pressing the on/off power bottom, also the menu button. Plug and unplug of course, monitor and computer. Unplugged press the power button pressed for 40-60 secs, and I keep getting mixed results. Sometimes it works the whole day no problem, other times the annoying window will appear, so I wonder if somebody has an stable solution. I would really appreciate your help.
    Thank you so much!
