HP Dreamcolor + hdlink 3d & Decklink extreme 3d = Cailbration?
Hello
I am about to pull the trigger on a home 12-core setup for color correction (color & Davinci) and want to use a Dreamcolor with an Extreme 3d & hdlink 3d but if this is true and a proper adapter does not exist for display port to hdmi 1.4a then we have a problem!
I am curious in comparison to the AJA HDP2 if I am using a Dreamcolor is that hdmi 1.4a or only 1.3? Is there any difference between the e2 converters?
Also does anyone know what settings i should have in the hdlink 3d utility for use with the Dreamcolor (rec. 709)?

You can connect directly the Dreamcolor to the HDLink3D adapter via DisplayPort.

what is the quality differences?

specifically is it the same as hdmi 1.4a or 1.3, how does it perform in comparison to the HDP2, what setting should I have when using with a Dreamcolor for grading and what exact display port size connection are we talking because it seems larger?

Hey Manual
so i read the article in thep ast but read it again as well as all of the links in the article itself but I am still curious what if any difference there is between HDMI 1.3/4 and display port.
I ask because I am debating whether to get the HDLINK 3d display port OR the AJA HDP2 for use with the HP Dreamcolor – this is for color correction purposes and having the highest possible quality (10bit) is very important!

I use for color grading Decklink Extreme 3D, HDlink Displayport and Eizo CG243W, via displayport.
