How’d they do that trail effect? TParticles

They said this was created using thinking particles and core particles. How can I create a similar effect. I don’t care about the bone riggin orcharacter animation…just that trail effect. Really cool!

It’s my understanding that that trail effect was the main thing that CPT did. When you saw the adds for it (when the site still existed) all the samples had basically geometry made from a stream of particles. I’m sure if you had CPT it would be pretty easy.

Sorry I am still getting up to speed on Cinema 4d – actually 3d in general 🙂 What does CPT stand for? Is it a plug-in or an app?

I shoul dhave googled it before. It stands for core particle tols DOH! Thanks…I will look into this plug-in 🙂 i thought core particles meant the basic particle syste that comes with Cinema 4d.
