How would you recommend I prepare for my first agency motion design role?
I’m going to be starting a role as a motion designer with an agency in two weeks’ time. It will be a fully remote role, working 40 hours a week, and others have said it will be pretty fast-paced, as agencies tend to be. I want to come in as prepared as I can, what are some things I can do to prepare myself for this opportunity, or steps I can take to give myself a better chance from the get-go?

congratulations mate.
The best advice I can give you is if you don’t know something, just ask. There’s nothing more infuriating than a new guy struggling or doing things wrong because they are too worried to ask. More than likely your new teammates will be more than happy to help you out.
With regards to the remote role, I’ve done it and it’s harder than in a studio I think, make sure you separate work and not work, communicate often with teammates, have a good chair, plenty of natural light, get a backup disk with a battery back up, back up often!
