Just a sphere with a wedge cut out.

In 2D composite mode, which is all I can find to make spheres at all…once you overlap two spheres that are mapped at “front” so I can then start to animate camera moves and mouth movements…It all goes squirrelly…

How would you guys make a true 3 d spherical pacman??

    OK,

you can have a 3d sphere but not control the amount of wrap the same way.

So I put two 3D spheres in a 3d model container…wrapped each at 50 percent…then spun one to make the rectangles overlap perfectly…the lines of the intersection may show up but I dont really care right now…

So anyway…that is how I did it!

Use Boris Blue? Real 3D needs a real 3D app.

or you could just dress your little brother up in a plush pacman costume and have him run about the set….

    O.k. scratch that.
