    I know about the particle side of things. I am looking moreso towards the background of the falling notes. It seems almost static with what is moving and non repeating. Just a little curious on how i would do this.

    Have a null object constantly moving in y. (A time expression or a loopOut() expression could be useful here.)

    When a note should be getting hit, put a square there and then parent it to the null object.
