I want an effect to circle around someone. How would I make it so that the effect (say an orb) goes behind the person on one side, comes back on the other side and goes in front of them? I can’t use the blockers cause they block it no matter what.

If you don’t have the person masked out (with an alpha channel), you can still use blockers. Just put the “front” emitter on a different layer.

Also, if you have Adobe After Effects, you can split the layer. (at the point where you want to seperate the infront and behind parts).
