How would I achieve this type of video in Vegas
Posted by Rikki Daman on April 4, 2012 at 9:31 amJust spotted this and was wondering how easy to achieve it would be in Vegas …
Or would I need something bigger to accomplish it ?
Many thanks,
Rik

April 4, 2012 at 12:46 pmThe 3d tv is easy to do in vegas with the 3d tracks and PS of course. You can’t do the particles and lense flares like that in the standard vegas plugins tho. I am not aware of plugins that do that for Vegas.
It is possible but hopefully someone around here can recommend some plugins.

April 4, 2012 at 1:06 pmThat particular video was done with a ready made template
for after effects, where the user simply drop in their own
video and text and done.If you want motion graphics such as these, may as well simply just
invest in a copy of After Effects, which can easily and quickly
churn out these key candy. After Effects should be in the arsenal of all editors.

April 4, 2012 at 6:54 pmYou can’t do it in Vegas alone, but you could probably replicate a lot of that in the BCC8 plug-in.

April 4, 2012 at 10:27 pmI am pretty sure you can do most, if not all of this in blufftitler. It has a particle system, flares, 3d model manipulation, reflections etc. takes a little getting used to, but definitely worth a look.

April 5, 2012 at 8:52 amWith the combinations of Sony Vegas and After Effects,
you’re limited by nothing. So instead of fiddling
around with this tool and diddling around with that plugin,
nothing beats simply investing in a motion graphics powerhouse.Steve Rhoden

April 5, 2012 at 1:03 pmYeah you are probably right. I have messed with bluff titler a while back and it was ok. Pretty easy to use but not as good as what AE can do. I have just put off AE for so long…probably should start using it.

April 6, 2012 at 12:31 amI encourage you to start using it, so many put it off, but when
you start using it, you see how easy and fun complex graphics
are a breeze to create.Steve Rhoden
