  • How to? Re-capture just audio from clips that had V,A1 &A2 initally?

Posted by Phillip Powell on November 13, 2006 at 11:33 pm

Just need one of the audio channels from a bin full of clips re-captured. Even tho origionally it was Vid & both audio channels.

Is there a way to modify so I can just batch and get only audio?

    Thanks,

Set that bin you need to capture from as the Logging Bin

    Launch Log and Capture

In Clip Settings, select Audio only (turn off video)

Select “Batch” in the Log and Capture Window

UN-check “Use Logged Clip Settings” This forces FCP to capture using whatever is set in the Log and Capture window, in this case, audio only.

Select All Items in Logging Bin

    Capture.

Note, this will blow away all the of the clips currently in the bin and recapture them as audio only.
