how to use photoshop action in AE CS3

with ae you can create scripts that can perform similar functions to photoshop actions, but you will need to actually write the scripts in java rather than record the steps as in a photoshop action…
if the action is a series of effects on a single layer you can create an animation preset that will apply those effects and settings to any selected layers, and that doesn’t involve any programming. jsut apply the effect and any settings adjustments to a layer, select the effects and any settings that were modified (including any keyframed properties), then choose animation>save as preset. then you can recall that preset with all the settings and keyframes when needed.

November 5, 2008 at 8:25 pmConversely, you could render out your sequence from AE as an image sequence, batch process your frames using the photoshop action, then re-import the processed image sequence back into AE to finish out the shot.

i rendered filmstrip in after effect then i import that clip into a
photoshop and applyed action then saved it in same formatthenx for ur valuable ideas
