    Hi there,

i am trying to learn how to use powerful tool, actually i am stuck on using mirror effect,
i have a scene which i want to mirror, but i dont know what should i do to set it properly, i want to mirror the left half of the scene but i want it mirrored from left, not from right, actually the scene is mirrored, but (when i move the layer) what i want to see is black, its out of border of the scene, or how to call it.
i dont know how to set it, to see the mirrored scene on the left side.
    thanx

I’m not sure I understand you completely, but if you’re having major problems with the mirror effect maybe the best option is to simply duplicate your layer you want mirrored and then adjust the horizontal scale to the negatives (in other words, flip it around). Then position it where you want it, mask it if necessary, and parent it to your original layer.
If you have any other questions please ask- I’m not sure if I answered your question or not.

thanx it has helped, actually i managed to create 2 layers one with mirrored scene, and i set parent to one (i didnt know what is it for this parent 🙂 ), and i wanted to describe my next problem, but i finally! found what are these layer controls for (bring layer to front, or send him back) 🙂
many thanx, it seems so as i am coming deeper into (for me still) mysteries of this tool 🙂
