Posted by Maiko Jestamiro on November 6, 2011 at 12:10 pm

I’m a beginner and use Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5. and Fieldkit.

But It does not effect well.
Final Output movie shows the ORANGE CROSS LINE printed ” RE:Vision Effects, inc.”

Although, The setup of Premiere is wrong.

I read an FieldsKit instruction manual, but some contents was
difficult and could not understand. what I should do.

I probably make a mistake very elementarily.
My setup is written to below.

    Please tell me wrongs.

    (1) My movie is AVCHD of SONY HundyCam. 1080(60i) 29.97fps
Interlace. field Order : Upper first
    1920*1080 (1.0)

    (2) Make new Sequence01 (AVCHD 1080(30)60i) Premere Pro Presetting.

    (3) Insert the AVCHD movie to sequence01.

    (4) Make more Sequence (It’s name a Sequence02)
Sequence02 is 29.97fps and field is “NONE”

    (5) Next, Insert Sequence02 to Sequence01

    (6) Drag the FieldKit Plug-ins and drop to Sequence01 in Sequence02.

    (7) Set the paramaters of FielsKit

*Time Mode = Motion Estimated Blend, 1 Frame Per Frame
    *Field Order = Upper First
*Fill Method = Best 5 Neighbors
    *Detect Motion = Small Area

    (8) Encord to QuickTime ProRes422(HQ) by Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5
    1920*1080(1.0) 29.97fps , Field Type is “Progressive”

I did NOT render on Premiere Pro.
    Writeout by only Media Encorder.

    Please help me.
    Thank you.

This sounds like the serial number hasn’t been inputted. Since it’s your first use of FieldsKit and it’s not working right, why not contact revisionfx? They have a great support group found at this link.
