how to unsnap a clip from the rest
I need to move a clip from its original spot up into another layer and move it forward but the rest of the clips behind it follow.
I just want to move that specific piece of clip, how do I unhook the rest from it?

Auto ripple should not have clips connected tpgether so that they follow from one track to another. Be sure that they are UNgrouped.
