September 9, 2013 at 8:21 pmYou need Premiere if you want to use Encore.

September 9, 2013 at 8:48 pmCC and CS6 are managed separately by the subscription manager so they can be used and updated independently. I have chosen to leave all of the software on our machines.
If I can keep an old project as a CS6 project, I do so.

September 9, 2013 at 9:35 pmYou can uninstall Premiere CS6 without uninstalling Encore, if you wish to keep it. Also, uninstalling CS6 apps after installing CC versions broke some dynamic link capabilities, and necessitated having to re-install certain CC apps. Not a major headache, but not it requires another download, which can be problematic and costly if you’re on satellite Internet.

April 14, 2016 at 12:53 amI see this post is some years old now, but HOW did you figure out how delete some parts of CS6? I just had to download Premiere for CS6 so I could use Encore again. I want to delete Premiere CS6 and keep Encore only. How can I do that? I’m running Windows 7 on a PC.
Thanks for any guidance.
Todd
