How to Tweak Patchwork Green Screen with Secondary Color Corrector
Hi,
I have been using a “homemade” green screen using a couple of tablecloths. However, one shot needed more “screen” so I hastily threw an old green sheet up to cover an exposed corner, because I didn’t have another tablecloth of the exact kind I was using.
Mistake.
Even though it was green, somehow the chroma keyer in Vegas 7.0 won’t eliminate it. It is slightly lighter green than the the tablecloth, but I guess that was enough to make a problem.
Question: is there a way, using the secondary color corrector, to transform the lighter green of the sheet into the darker green of the tablecloth, so as to have one uniform “tablecloth” color to work with?

Is your subject fairly stationary? If so, it wouldn’t be too hard to create a bezier mask to eliminate most of the background altogether.

Unfortunately, the subjects are not static, but instead are a dancing couple. Slow dancing, but dancing nonetheless…
