How to turn one long audio track to multiple tracks???

It’s been a long time since I worked with audio CD’s, but have you looked at making regions? I believe those translate into tracks on an audio CD.

Or I’m wrong again,

thanks steve, what were trying to do is spit the tracks because when we record and burn it onto a cd it is only one long track instead we are trying to have it like a normal cd that has track 1, track 2 and etc.

Make a timeline selection for the first track and press the ‘N’ key. That will create a New CD Track Region. Highlight the next section and press N again. Repeat until all of your tracks are defined.

Make a selection by dragging your mouse over the top of the timeline while holding the left mouse button. It will look like this:

Yes, just designate the CD tracks later.

Hey John, thank you so much my friend, Now I have one more question how do I suppose to burn the cds? and test to make sure that it is working?

I just did a test run and I render it and open the file and it play the whole track in media player. What will I have to do to test it, and burn the cds?
