  • How to turn off automatic keyframing in soundeffects

Posted by Auke Hamers on September 18, 2020 at 12:53 pm

    Hey all,

While I adjust soundeffects I obviously play back my clip.
Afterwards I always come to the conclusion that it recorded my adjustments live i.e. when it plays back I hear myself adjusting it. It made keyframes.
Although this could come in handy, to me mostly it doesn’t and by the life of me I can’t find how to turn it off.

    Does anyone have a clue?

    Cheers

In the Effects Panel, if the Stopwatch is blue to the left of your Levels, click it to turn it off. That should do it. That will also delete all your keyframes btw. I assume you are referring to the Effects Panel anyways.

Thanks Todd. I know this. It turns on automatically and I want it not to do that. That’s the issue. Sometimes the stopwatch doesn’t even show blue and still it recorded my adjustments.
