    How to transfer clips to another user for editing?

    I am going to be editing footage for a long film with a friend who has an AVID in another city. We will both be using Media Composer. I am thinking that I will simply send her a collection of bins from our project on a harddrive, and she will be able to edit from that in a way compatible with my system.

    My question is how does one put all the clips from a bin onto a harddrive for sending to another user. I have purchased a 500 gb Western Digital drive for this purpose.

    Look up “Consolidate” in your Media Composer help.
