  • How to transcode Alexa Prores4444 2K to DNxHD36 with Rec709

We have some Alexa material shot in Prores 4444 and in 2K which we need to transcode into DNxHD36 with a Rec709.

We have previously used Davinci Resolve Lite to convert our Alexa material shot in prores 4444 but in HD (1920×1080) to DNxHD36, and that went well.

But Resolve Lite doesn’t support 2K.

How do I transcode 2K to DNxHD36 with the Rec709 without having to purchase the Resolve standard software?

    Cheers.

Resolve Lite supports larger than HD sizes for source media, but scales the output down to HD.
